Psst…The Sky’s Not Actually the Limit

This is just some placeholder content. We’ve used some random quotes from bygone TV painter Bob Ross to fill the space. If you don’t know who Bob Ross is, ask your parents. He’s a trip! Plus, of course, television was a lot different back then. But wasn’t everything?

Ok, on with the random quotes…

In nature, dead trees are just as normal as live trees. We’ll put a happy little bush here. It’s a good way of getting rid of all your anxieties and hostilities. We’ll throw some old gray clouds in here just sneaking around and having fun. Isn’t it fantastic that you can change your mind and create all these happy things? All those little son of a guns.

We want to use a lot pressure while using no pressure at all. Sometimes you learn more from your mistakes than you do from your masterpieces. A fan brush is a fantastic piece of equipment. Use it. Make friends with it. There’s nothing wrong with having a tree as a friend. In your world you have total and absolute power. Anyone can paint.

If there’s two big trees invariably sooner or later there’s gonna be a little tree. This is a fantastic little painting. A little happy sunlight shining through there. We have all at one time or another mixed some mud. We’ll have a super time. Let’s put some happy little clouds in our world.

Let’s put some highlights on these little trees. The sun wouldn’t forget them. You want your tree to have some character. Make it special. And that’s when it becomes fun – you don’t have to spend your time thinking about what’s happening – you just let it happen. There are no limits in this world. Just relax and let it flow. That easy. That’s a son of a gun of a cloud.

Put light against light – you have nothing. Put dark against dark – you have nothing. It’s the contrast of light and dark that each give the other one meaning. Everything’s not great in life, but we can still find beauty in it. Let’s put some happy little bushes on the other side now.

The shadows are just like the highlights, but we’re going in the opposite direction. We’ll throw some happy little limbs on this tree. Be so very light. Be a gentle whisper.
