Philosophy statement: Pilates is not just a set of amazing exercises. It is a whole way of life that should affect every aspect of your being.
Favorite Pilates exercise and why: Short Spine because it just opens my spine up in such a delicious way. I sure miss it when I’m pregnant!
How Pilates helped me: I was having a lot of back pain that had been treated unsuccessfully until Pilates. Through Pilates my asymmetrical foot structures were addressed and corrected which straightened out my pelvis/spine and miraculously healed my back. Pilates’ whole body view really changed the way that I look at healing as well as how my body functions.
Why I enjoy teaching Pilates: I love helping people learn to enjoy moving in their bodies. Movement should be fun and enjoyable for everyone!
