Hobbies: Writing, traveling, exercise (especially Pilates!), reading, watching all kinds of sports, trying all things new, and enjoying time with my family and friends.

Children: A very furry kitty named Macavity.

Pilates Philosophy statement:  With Pilates, both teacher and student can find an equilibrium in their lives centered on a healthy approach to their bodies and minds. 

Favorite Pilates exercise and why: Breaststroke on the Long Box.  I think that it not only feels amazing but also requires the ideal amount of strength and flexibility.

How Pilates helped me:   Pilates has empowered me by giving me much more confidence in my body and a great peace of mind.  This has positively affected all facets of my life.  

Why I enjoy teaching Pilates:  I love the precision of the movements and the sense of well-being I can see in my clients’ eyes when I work with them. Beyond that, I feel that I make a positive difference in the lives of others.  That’s a real gift.
