Philosophy statement:You’re as healthy as your spine is flexible. Correct posture and alignment can save you from acute and chronic injuries. The spine holds your body upright and if it is not held properly injuries will occur sooner or later.
Favorite Pilates exercise and why:Up Stretch - I love the movement and flow of the exercise.
How Pilates helped me: Pilates has helped me find an awesome way to workout without hitting the gym. There is so much variety and modifications available to keep you moving through any injury or just plain boredom.
Why I enjoy teaching Pilates:I enjoy helping people learn about their bodies. I love helping people function better in their daily lives by creating balance in their body and the way that it moves. I also love finding modifications for people that have injuries and are scared to exercise.
